A Healing Archive was an interactive installation for the 2025 True False Film Festival meant to highlight how past strength can empower our future healing with the support of others. It evolved throughout the festival as the community engaged. When we experience trauma, feelings of grief and low self-esteem are inevitable. Finding a supportive community is critical to the healing process. As someone listens to our story, this connection provides energy to overcome adversity and reclaim self-love. A Healing Archive was constructed with natural fibers including cotton, linen, and silk that were naturally dyed with plants based on Victorian era floriography.
